Hello Caweh, I hope you’re doing good!  Can you tell us a little about yourself, and how long you’ve been a music creator?

Hi Enda! I'm good thank you, considering the current situation. My name is Caweh Passereh aka "CaPa", I currently live in Gothenburg, Sweden. I've been producing for many years now, closing in on about 12 years I think!

Perhaps a complex question, but what motivates you to create music in general?
I think what drives me most is the creative part. I need to be creative during the day otherwise I feel incomplete! Music has always been a big love of mine but I had no prior training. That motivated me even more because everyone can create music nowadays and I love that. Of course, one of the biggest reasons is the reactions you get when you put a track out there. The love and smiles you (hopefully) generate is worth all the long hours in the studio.

Lets’ talk new music as we always do: I’m excited to say that you’re back in the game with a new track, “The Lights" working alongside Diana Miro and Zerothree. Is there a story to this collaboration?

Yes! There is a story behind it. I received a vocal from Diana last year and loved it but couldn't make something of it. Time passed and I was working on a beat when Diana sent me a link to some vocal ideas. The one that really stuck with me was "The Lights" vocal. I tried putting it in the current beat but no matter how I twisted and turned it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. In the end I decided to remake the track and start off with the vocal as a basis. That's how we ended up with the current version of "The Lights"!

What do you normally do when you’re not making music? Any interesting past times / hobbies you have that you’d like to share?

I work full time as a developer for a startup and that is also creative and fun (most of the time). Photography is also another one of my passions but that hasn't happened too much lately because of restrictions. However the best thing is hanging out with my family and friends.

If there was one artist who you’d love to collaborate with, who is it, and why so?

I would love a day in the studio with Ludwig Göransson. He's been on fire lately both in the pop/hiphop industry but also making music for movies and series. If you see him let him know 😉
